Firstly I want to remined everyone about tomorrow's plans to take inventory of PKM'c costumes. You can help us in two ways:
1. Join us on Friday evening,
2. Check your closet and if you find anything, bring it or let me know!
Tomorrow is also an opportunity to bring your contribution to the donation for the orphanage in Poland. I received a number of calls regarding this. Here is the general direction: (a) the list is only a suggestion, you can bring something else, (b) if you do not have time to shop, you can make a monetary donation to help us offset shipping costs.
On Tuesday, January 5, WPHL TV 17 presented the 1st place Viewer's Choice Award to the Polish American String Band. Captain Mark Danielewicz and members of the string band (including our own Stephano on the accordion and Rich Klimek, Andrzej Klimek and Eric Misthal as prop handlers "marshals") received the award from Steve Highsmith, representing WPHL, TV 17. Congratulations to the members of the Polish American String Band on an award winning 2010 presentation of "Jokers' Ball" and we wish them continued success!

Although not finalized, the PKM web site is up and running! Check out www.pkmdancers.com to see what we have compiled so far. If you have any pictures from PKM's "olden days", please send them over! We would love to add them to the collection.
